This $25M project was part of Kane County’s Longmeadow Parkway Corridor Improvement, creating a new roadway connecting Huntley Road to Algonquin Road. The Fox River Bridge project included construction of a new 4-span bridge, MSE Walls, Pedestrian Bridge, detention basins, storm sewer system, roadway, and lighting.  A key feature of the project was the construction of a pedestrian bridge and trail within the Bruner Forest Preserve, seamlessly connecting to the Fox River Trail and providing safe, accessible pathways for recreation and transportation. The project also included planting 800 trees, promoting ecological restoration and enhancing the natural beauty of the preserve. Responsibilities encompassed project administration, management of staff and sub-consultants, budget and schedule oversight, construction observation and inspection, documentation, and construction layout verification.
